Day 1: Tagaytay
For the first day of our 3 days, 2 nights Tagaytay-Nasugbu vacation, hubby and the kids fetched me from the office so we can head directly to Tagaytay City. We reached Tagaytay at around 7am, and thinking it was too early to enter Picnic Grove, we decided to drive around and chanced upon the Good Shepherd signage. Hubby said he wanted to buy his favorite ube jam, so we decided to have our breakfast there as well.
From their Bahay Pastulan store, we bought their large ube jam (Php190). And from their takeout counter, we bought chicken and tuna empanadas (Php30 each), buko-lychee juice (Php20) and their big halo-halo (Php75).

There is an elevated eating area inside the store compound with several tables but sadly no chairs, much like the typical food stalls found in malls. We ate our breakfast here while standing. After having our stomachs filled, we headed next to the nearby Picnic Grove.

Maryridge Good Shepherd is also run by nuns like its counterpart in Baguio. They are also selling the same products such as peanut brittle, lengua, assorted jams, local
kakanins such as biko plus a whole lot more. We planned on dropping by this place again on our way home to buy
pasalubongs but were unable to do so because we left too early for Manila on our last day.
